Constance Gadell-Newton was born in Belleville, Illinois. Raised by a nanny (mother) and a teacher (stepfather), Gadell-Newton experienced poverty as a child. Through hard work, Gadell-Newton’s parents were able to enroll her in the private Bishop Watterson High School in Columbus, Ohio, which prepared her to graduate with honors from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree. She studied criminal law at Penn State University in 2002, and received her Juris Doctor from Penn State Dickinson School of Law in 2008. She gained her experience of playing in online casinos in Canada over the years of practice, which she will talk about in more detail here
